Description
Situated around five minutes' from the seaside village of Little Haven, this traditional Pembrokeshire cottage is a rare find. Originally forming part of the outbuildings for the nearby manor house, the property is thought to be over a hundred years old. From these humble beginnings a truly impressive collection of properties have been created. Presented for sale is the main house of Willowcot, a four bedroom character property with a recent extension that brings it completely up to date. In addition there is Willowcot Cottage, a one bedroom rental property and a spacious, self-contained studio space. These three properties offer a buyer a huge scope to fulfil a variety of needs and make an exciting proposition. Complementing this fantastic range of properties is the stunning location. Situated in small rural hamlet in the Pembrokeshire National Park, Willowcot is literally moments from the stunning beaches and coastline of this gorgeous part of the country.
The main property of Willowcot consists of the original granary dating back to the 1800s and a two storey extension that the owners added in 2008. The property offers a traditional handmade kitchen with a traditional Aga at its heart, along with a useful utility room and double height entrance lobby off it. Two large reception rooms, one in the original structure and one in the new extension, complete the ground floor accommodation. On the first floor are three double bedrooms and one single along with the family bathroom. The master bedroom is a surprisingly large room as it sits in the new extension and benefits from an ensuite shower room and walk in closet.
Willowcot Cottage adjoins the main house and offers beautiful accommodation comprising of a welcoming reception, double bedroom, galley kitchen and shower room. This cottage has been run as a successful holiday let for a number of years, popular not only for its fantastic location but also for its great presentation and privacy. The cottage enjoys two parking spaces at the roadside, separate from those used by the main house, and a south facing courtyard garden to the side.
In addition to the main house and cottage, there is a large purpose-built artist studio to the side of the main property. This building offers the most customisable space of the three properties. Currently it provides a spacious artist's studio which is flooded with natural light. It would be an ideal workspace for any artist, small business, or therapy space. Alternatively, subject to change of use, this building would make for a perfect additional letting unit or accommodation for extended family.
The property is located just outside the pretty seaside village of Little Haven with its pubs and stunning beach. The larger county town of Haverfordwest, with its range of larger shops and amenities, is only around fifteen minutes' drive away. For anyone looking to explore this fantastic countryside and coastline, these intriguing properties would make a perfect home.

The two windows to the side of the property, along with the high ceiling, ensure that this space feels light and airy. An ideal space to work in, this room would suit a variety of uses. Subject to change of use, there is also massive scope for this building to provide an additional letting unit for the property. There is a kitchen in this space, perfect for anyone working in the studio.
Shower Room - Off the studio space is a large shower room with a lavatory, hand basin, and heated towel rail. This room also offers another (currently unused) external door to the side.
External
The property sits in approximately one acre of gardens which extend to the eastern side of the property. Beautifully cultivated by the current owners, the gardens include a mixture of vegetable plots, mature planting, specimen trees, and lawn. A small stream runs through the middle of the garden creating a lovely feature to this tranquil space. For those wanting to grow their own produce, two green houses and a range of raised beds make for ideal spaces.
Halfway down the garden is a large metal storage shed, ideal for garden tools and machinery.
The cottage has its own courtyard garden directly outside with a raised seating area flanked by an ancient stone wall. This arrangement gives both the cottage and main house privacy from each other.
Both the cottage and the main house have their own parking areas, with two parking spaces for the cottage and a larger, gated parking area for the main house.
